Les Brown said, “you don’t get what you want in life. You get who you are.”
Who are you being now?
Who do you want to be?
And the most important question… How would you feel if those things you desire were yours right now?
Act like that person.
Show up as that person.
Talk like that person.
Watch your results change. You get who you are.
Last week we talked about alignment. So… how are you intentionally aligning yourself with your goals?
I can’t say this enough: You must first BE what you desire in order to DO what’s necessary in order to HAVE what’s desired.
There can be no other way.
So, thinking from the goal is truly just creating more velocity around who you’d be if you had that goal obtained.
When aligned, you wouldn’t stress about the cost of groceries, education, or a night out with your spouse.
You get who you are.
I’ve seen it time and time again where someone thinks from their goal and they become who they dreamt about.
Why? Because thinking from that goal attracts the desired results.
The universe loves speed. Don’t believe me? Try it!

Don’t just think about your goals. Write them down.
A physical list will jog your goal into your mind.
And that action will lead you to tell others, hire a coach, and create accountability.
How many of you are actually doing this?
If you are, how’s it going?
If you’re not, why the heck not?
You get to create your life. Nobody else. And remember, you get who you are.

The more you have in life, the more you can give.
To have more, you must first be more.
To be more, you get to choose who you are.
You choose… not who your mom thinks you are, not who you think you should be, not even who your boss says to be… who you get to be.
No, this isn’t you lying to yourself. This is you becoming the fulfilled person – with those goals attained – that you are meant to be.
Act as if and write that person out:
What does that person look like, wear, and sound?
How do you talk?
Are you a morning person now?
Do you go for walks or runs because you find actual enjoyment in them?
How much time do you get to spend with your family?
What kind of home do you live in?
What activities do you do with your family?
We think in pictures. The more you write, the more thoughts come – which enhances creation.
So, I’ll ask again, what are you creating this year?
